This is taken with permission from Sarah's (aka the abbagirl) Chicago convention report: (which Vicky Pratt attended) Of course, one of the first questions asked was about the status of "Cleopatra 2525," which we're all confused about... she said that she actually knows about as much as we do! They did film 6 or 7 hour-long episodes before the hiatus, and those should start airing in January, but she doesn't know what's going to happen next. For now she is allowed to work on other shows and things, but only as a guest star, she can't take on any starring roles yet. Comforting. :) But on the other hand, at least we know that the cast of Cleo are still under contract with Studios USA and/or RenPics. (Bruce Campbell's contract for JoaT was said to expire on the 22nd of November.) Is this faint hope that Cleo could still return? Keep on writing those letters in to Studios USA and passing around news of the petition. I've heard (dark and unsubstantiated rumours) that Cleo's cancellation may come as a result of a dispute between Studios USA and Renaissance Pictures, so if you're really desperate to see Cleo return, you might also like to start campaigning to get it on other networks (such as the Sci Fi Channel.)
